Abstract

If the energy is to be stored in remote rural areas, the design of a man-machine model is an even more vital unit operation. Man-machine systems like the Human-driven flywheel motor are excellent examples. The input shaft of the processing unit, transmission between it, and the pedal-driven flywheel motor are the three main components of the model. The pedal drives the flywheel motor, which stores the generated energy. The stored energy is subsequently sent into the processing unit. In order to offer an overview of the flywheel motor, a literature review was done. A wide range of performance metrics and their application were examined as part of a thorough study to ensure that the system is both functional and economically viable.
