India is an agricultural background country whose 70% of the population depends completely on farming; storage of these grains plays a crucial role in the national economy. During the storage of these cultivated grains humidity, carbon dioxide concentration and temperature are important factors that can affect the quality of the stored food grain in the go-downs and warehouses. The traditional methods are simply followed by measuring humidity and temperature conditions which are relatively backward as there are many other important factors to be monitored and concentrated independently for maintaining these goods in desired quality in the warehouse. As individuals of India are predominantly subject to agricultural items. The finished goods, electrical products, and agricultural products are stored in the warehouse. Warehouses are managed by producers, middlemen, traders, customers, etc. Due to the problems in the storage requirements of warehouses, every year farmers are facing a huge loss. This is mainly due to the inability to produce quality refrigeration systems and improper storage of the produced goods. These warehouses must be screened at regular intervals so that reduction of capacity cost of food grains because of air changes and are recorded. By the enlargement of the business and the continuous requirement of the grains and food product, hence old style warehouse management prototype will not meet the required factors, due to its heavy capacity and low proficiency. IoT-Internet of Things is an affirmative platform to implement large data analytics tasks such as a way to exploit networking, detecting, huge information, and computerized reasoning innovation to convey finish frameworks for item or administration. Here it is discussed. These losses are reduced effectively with the support of various sensors to detect the status of food grains stored in the warehouse.
