To allow authorized users to access and operate equipment remotely using a Smartphone application, this article describes a low-cost, versatile, and reliable home automation system based on an Arduino microcontroller. The suggested system employs the Internet of Things to provide server-less control of a wide range of human-desired products, from factory machinery to household gadgets. The user may also operate the system from a variety of other devices, such as a web browser, smartphone, or IR remote module. This article presents a home automation system based on an Arduino UNO microcontroller and esp8266-01 as a connection module, demonstrating the system's viability and efficacy. The user may remotely adjust settings on their lights, fans, and TVs, as well as make decisions based on sensor data. We have experimented with our technique in a wide range of natural settings.
