In L-Shaped configuration structure major challenges come in seismic design. In general, due to limited knowledge and complexity architects do not consider the results of P-Delta analysis while analyzing and designing buildings, they regard the results of P-Delta as neglected, and that can lead to unsafe construction. To understand the effects of earthquake on L-shaped structure under P-Delta effects is the main aim of this study. The current study deals with the analysis of L-shaped structures in Zone-V using P-Delta Analysis. The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of Story Drift and Story Displacement as a result of P-Delta analysis on a structural structure such as L-shaped. The current work seeks to accept the results of the P-Delta in the analysis and design of L-shaped structures. Two models of twenty and thirty storey of three different plans developed on sandy (medium) sand found in earthquake site V according to IS: 1893 (Part 1) -2016 is analyzed using ETABS software. With increase in height of the building P-Delta effect also increases. It is also concluded that the effects of P-Delta are mostly concentrated in slenderer structures.
