Seismic Response of a High Rise Building with and without Floating Column using STAAD Pro

Abstract

The goal of this investigation is to examine Ground+10 working with utilizing STAAD Pro programming. In this research, we have to analyze regular and irregular structures for different location of Zone V. Total 16 models as being modeled to carry out the structural analysis and research using Staad Pro software to know the behavior of floating column (with and without) of high rise regular and vertically irregular building subjected to earthquake forces. The different parameters compared in this analysis like Storey Drift, shear forces, and bending moments.
