Combined piled-raft foundation systems are an efficient and economical solution when the raft alone does not fulfill the design requirements. CPRF proves to be effective in controlling excessive settlement of raft and reduces high-stress concentrations and moment in the raft economically. In this study, the performance of the CPRF has been studied by a comparative analysis of different foundation models prepared and analyzed in CSI SAFE software. The purpose of this study is to study the load settlement behavior of CPRF, and other factors such as moment and shear in the raft, and load sharing raft and pile group by changing the parameters such as the raft size, raft thickness, pile spacing, and pile stiffness. These factors prove to be useful in the design of the CPRF system and therefore the most optimum configuration is required to be considered for the design process. This study can be used to decide the most suitable geometrical arrangement of piles and raft for designing the combined piled raft foundation system.
