Abstract

Nanofluids are nano powders in base liquid and can be employed to increase heat transfer rate in various applications. Where we use laminar flow forced convection heat transfer of aluminum oxide-water nanofluid ins a circular tube. Where we use constant wall, temperature was investigated experimentally. This experiment study Nusselt numbers of nanofluids. In this we were obtained for different nanoparticle concentrations and various Reynolds & Prandtl numbers. The effectiveness of nanofluids can be measured with nanofluid and water. Experimental results show the enhancement of heat transfer. Due to the nanoparticle’s presence in the fluid Heat transfer coefficient goes to be increases by increasing the concentration of nanoparticles in nanofluid. There were increase in heat transfer coefficient because of due to presence of nanoparticles is also higher. Result prediction of single-phase heat transfer correlation used with the nanofluid properties.
