Diagnosis & Minimization of Casting Shrinkage Defect at Minimum Cost

Foundry industries are founder of most of parts which involves as work function contributor in assemblies of Pump, Tractors, Automobiles, Earth mover manufacturing industries. As foundry men well known as casted part is always suffering from number of foundry process, if the single process deviation found then it prone to casting defect occurrence in final casted product. As development continuous going on in foundry industries by advance simulation software but sometimes after taking use of advanced techniques unable to control foundry defect. Mostly the problems related to solidifications are not get diagnosed well earlier. The research of our paper is conducted at Mane foundry who is always busy to supply tractor & automobile industries parts. The new project of one-part name is Pump casing who is belongs to tractor industries which having single cavity good casting weight 7.40 kg with thicker sectional area. Pump casing part was suffering from Axial depression dendritic type shrinkage from the day of new development of production. My paper shows how its rejection from 95 % to 0% goes down with use of available resources without including any in new costing techniques.
