Therapeutic Attribute to Imidazole Derivatives

Abstract

This review gives information about some new discovered imidazole derivatives and the activities of these imidazole derivatives. In this review, summarized imidazole derivative which have been proved to exhibit various pharmacological activities as antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-tubercular, anti-depressant, antiviral and analgesic. Many study reports have been generated in a short period of time due to the rapid development of novel compounds containing this nucleus. As a result, it appears that recent data is needed to understand the current state of the imidazole nucleus in medicinal chemistry research, with a focus on the numerous attempts to synthesise and investigate new structural prototypes with improved therapeutic activities.
