What reasons and factors exist that influence consumers to buy a particular product and why are consumers generally loyal to a particular company's product? This research has been done to answer all these questions. It is easy for any individual to buy and consume a particular product but it is difficult to reach that decision of purchase. This study's major goal was to find out how and what factors influence the buying attitudes of consumers. There are two main goals of this study: First, to identify the relationship between the buying attitudes of consumers and the factors affecting buying attitudes. The next objective is to identify the factors that influence the buying attitudes of customers to remain loyal to a particular product of a company. The study was based on a relevant review of literature work and a self-structured questionnaire to collect relevant information from 100 respondents through primary data as well as secondary data. SPSS software is also used to analyze and interpret the data. The products are categorized according to the Indian family in Ambala. The results revealed that various factors influence the buying attitudes of the consumer. This study is an important perspective for future manufacturers, producers, and marketers which gives a comprehensive view of the buying attitudes of the consumers for the consumption of the products. This can include many things like – unwanted sexual gestures or looks, promises of reward for sexual favours, sexual comments or innuendos, sexually suggestive behaviour or signals, etc. The objective of this paper is to find out the publication pattern of the overall research that has taken place in the area of Sexual Harassment. To accomplish this objective, we have used Desk Research Methodology. Scopus Database has been used for retrieving the details about research and publication in the area of Sexual Harassment from 1977 to 2021. The data were analyzed concerning the type of publication, year of publication, subject area, top authors, country of research, affiliation, funding sponsors, and citation analysis. The results of the study show that 2020 has the highest number of publications in this area (739), Fitzgerald, L.F. is the top author with 45 publications, University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign is affiliated with the highest number of publications (112), and the United States of America has the highest number of publications (3604). When it comes to the subject area – Social Science tops the list (3249) followed by Medicine (2936), and the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services is the top sponsor for research in this area. Fiske, S. T. is a high-impact author who has the highest number of citations (1172). The analysis deciphers that although research about Sexual Harassment has been conducted since 1977, it is an area/topic that continues to evolve to date. Hence, there is a lot of scope to carry out multi-disciplinary research in this area.
Radha Pavitra Yalamarti, Ganesha K S Copyright (c) 2023 Research and Review: Human Resource and Labour Management http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/RRHRLM/article/view/4023 Fri, 04 Aug 2023 00:00:00 +0530 Analysis of the Effects on Consumers Purchasing Attitudes http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/RRHRLM/article/view/4718
In today's era, every manufacturer and every marketer wants to know about the buying attitudes of the consumer to maximize profit. The specific objective was to examine school practices to retain public secondary school teachers in Rungwe district Tanzania the study employed a mixed research approach and embedded case study design. The study was conducted in Rungwe district, Tanzania and involved 8 public secondary schools, purposive sampling and simple random sampling were used. The sample comprised 208 respondents, who were selected using purposive sampling and random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, observation and documentary review. Quantitative data were analysed using frequency and figures. Qualitative data were subjected to content analyses. The finding revealed that there is no proper mechanism used to retain multi-skilled teachers in the Rungwe district. Provisions of competitive salaries for public secondary school teachers as well as delay of promotion, payment of arrears and solving problems related to salary were also not prioritized by the employer which led to teachers’ frustration and attrition. The provision of induction programmes, sufficient incentives, promotion, and paying arrears as well as competitive salaries contribute to teacher retention. The study suggested that education administrators need to concentrate on improving teachers' earnings, and the teaching environment, managing teachers and informing them about relevant labour terms and conditions of service. The study recommends that education administrators should improve the working environment and fringe benefits for public secondary school teachers. Moreover, research should be conducted on other education sectors such as public primary schools, and public colleges to find out the magnitude of the problem of teacher retention and measures to resolve it. A comparative analysis of districts with teacher retention plans should be made to find out the appropriate model for retaining teachers.

Anyimike Hezron Afwande Copyright (c) 2023 Research and Review: Human Resource and Labour Management http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/RRHRLM/article/view/4450 Mon, 06 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0530 A Study on the Effectiveness of Recruitment and Selection Process in Public Sector http://matjournals.co.in/index.php/RRHRLM/article/view/4111
In a competitive business landscape where talent is a prized asset, the efficacy of the recruitment and selection process isn't just an HR concern—it's a strategic necessity that distinguishes between average and outstanding performance.
