Abstract

Hypo kinesis of the left ventricle is a generalized, uniform reduction in the amplitude of the left ventricle. Normally the left ventricle possesses an ejection fraction between 50% and 70% of the blood it possesses. Global hyperkinesia of the left ventricle arises due to severe reduction of the ejection fraction, lesser than 45%. The conditions like Coronary Artery Disease, High blood pressure, Diabetes, Arrhythmia, Obesity makes the patient more prone to the disorder. The occurrence of this condition is common especially in males and at all ages. The commonly observed feature in the patient with severe global hypokinesia of left ventricle is chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, edema, rapid or irregular breath, dry hacking cough followed with the treatment depending on stages.
