Abstract

Hemorrhage is the escape of blood from the cardio vascular system with accumulation in tissues or spaces of body or with actual escape from the body. If the blood loss is more than 20% of circulating blood volume, it results in fall of blood pressure. The compensatory mechanism causes a rapid fluid shift. A fall in haematocrit occurs after 32 hours. If the hemorrhage is not controlled, signs of shock may occur. Early detection and treatment help to save the life of the patients
