Abstract

This paper's work emphasizes the design and development of an LED indicator for a range of engineering applications. The goal of the project is to create a system for measuring distance using ultrasonic waves and an Arduino interface. The 20 Hz to 20 kHz range is the range that humans can hear. We may use the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 to make use of these frequency range waves. When this sensor is connected to Arduino, a control and sensing system, a precise measurement of distance can be made using novel methods. As huge sums of money are spent on hundreds of rigid circuit boards, the Arduino will allow companies to produce a lot more unusual gadgets. This distance measurement technology is extensively applicable in industries such as proximity detectors and range meters. Arduino is interfaced with the ultrasonic sensor's hardware. This technique is effective for taking accurate measurements of small distances. Ultrasonic sensors are used to determine how far an obstruction is from the sensor. Calculating the distance is possible once the sound speed is known. The work given here is a mini-project completed by electronics and communication engineering students in the second semester at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in Bangalore, Karnataka.
