Programmable Logic Controller Use for Predicting of the Medical Symptoms among Patients
Keywords:

The previously developed computer programs, the manager of medical processes "Medical Commander" and "Medical Commander Prognosis", allowed the real-time prediction of medical symptoms in clinical practice, using two principles of interpolation: minimizing of the difference between known and interpolated numerical values; the choice as an argument of the maximum number of statistical frequencies of the observed patients in the predetermined intervals. Based on these principles, a new device was designed, which is a mobile programmable logic controller (PLC) loaded with the block of data input of program of the medical process manager "Medical Commander" and the program of "Medical Commander Prognosis" allowing to predict any medical symptom or set of medical symptoms in real time. The device is a compact programmable logic controller that includes a built-in console (input-output device), a data input unit for a programmable logic controller, a unit for outputting the results to the monitor screen and the monitor itself.
