Abstract

In this paper we have discussed a novel improved crow search algorithm that is based on swarm intelligence in order to improve the efficiency of PV and Wind Hybrid system design. Using this paper, researchers can evaluate optimum placement, and VI design techniques when developing solar and wind hybrid systems. Constraints like inverter pulse control, design of pulse width modulator, load considerations, and hybridization parameters are taken into consideration. MATLAB and Simulink platforms are used to design the system. Real time conditions are considered while performing simulations, thereby making the design as close to real power system as possible.
