Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to generate the square wave output from the Schmitt trigger operational amplifier. The square or pulse width modulation is required for control the system or motor operation. The objective is generating the pulse width through Schmitt trigger operational amplifier. Through pulse width modulation technique uses to control the system. The various methods use to generate the pulse width modulation such as timer circuit, oscillator, programming controller etc. Out of all the methods, one of the simplest method for generate the pulse width is operational amplifier. The drawback of the other method is costlier than operational amplifier method. Operational amplifier is simple as well less cost. The Schmitt trigger operational amplifier method is one of the best methods among operational amplifier because it is act as closed loop operational amplifier. Compare to the conventional closed loop operational amplifier the Schmitt is positive feedback amplifier system.
