Abstract

"Customer satisfaction on online shopping," is a study that explains the efficiency of online shopping and the factors which influence the decisions of the consumers and their preference towards online applications by collecting 80 responses from the people in Coimbatore city and analyzing the data and providing a detailed and complete explanation of the study in the upcoming chapters. This article helps in ascertaining the overview of the online shopping effectiveness as well as the issued faced by the consumers with the help of the reliable data collected and analyzed. Statistical tools like Percentage analysis and friedman rank analysis have been used for this analysis. According to percentage analysis we understood that how much the people preferring the online shopping under different category like age, gender, educational qualification, and also how often they are purchasing from online etc. Online shopping is the best source to buy the products through various websites or apps. Through the collection of data, the most preferred website is Amazon and the least preferred website is Shopclues. The suggestions by the customer are positive and they also indicate some changes to be done in delivery of the product, refund process, quality to be improved. Almost all people have experienced the online shopping in their lifetime towards this responses The customers may feel more comfortable if they made some changes.
