Abstract

The COVID-19, beginning in March 2020, the Philippines Government announced COVID-19 Crisis is now in Philippines. The local vendors in the market are one of the affected by the COVID-19 crisis to temporarily close due to the pandemic and for the safety of all. This study aims to determine the vegetable vendor perspectives on the impact of COVID-19 on markets in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. A total of ten (10) respondents who will answer a series of questions; Age, Sex, Civil Status, Educational Attainment, Years of Being Vendor also the Availability of Goods, Prices, Changes in Demand and Reduction of Customer and to Finds out the problems encounter of vegetable vendor in San Isidro Public Market. A quantitative descriptive survey technique will be used to conduct the current study by using survey questionnaire. This study uses Convenience Sampling. Galloway (2005) stated that convenience sampling involves using respondents who are “convenient” to the researcher. Data will be analyzed using statistical methods and then interpreted to arrive at conclusions.
