Abstract

This paper presents a Python and OpenCVbased system that enables users to adjust the
volume of their computer using hand
gestures. The technology recognizes gestures
as input using a high-definition camera,
enabling non-verbal communication, and
enhancing human-computer connection. The
objective of this project is to create a system
for real-time gesture recognition that can
recognize and comprehend hand movements
for device control. By enabling users to
control the sound without using a keyboard
or mouse, this technology provides a more
relaxing and up-to-date method of
communicating with their gadgets. In this
implementation, the OpenCV module is
mainly used to control gestures. Basic
computer functions like volume control and
volume increase and reduction can be
controlled with hand gestures. A human does
not, therefore, have to learn the same abilities
as his machine, which is a constant hardship
for him. This system of hand gestures offers a
comfortable, cutting-edge, and contemporary
form of non-verbal communication
