Abstract

An Online class is a course conducted over the internet. They are generally conducted through a learning management system, in which students can view their course syllabus and academic progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course instructors. The objectives of the study were to assess the level of satisfaction with online classes among B. Sc. nursing students during the pandemic period of covid 19 and to find out the association between the level of satisfaction among BSc nursing students and selected demographic variables. The study was conducted among 50 BSc nursing students at Nightingale College of Nursing, Nedumangad, Trivandrum district. A descriptive study is used to assess the level of satisfaction with online classes among BSc nursing Students during the pandemic period of covid 19. Data was collected using the Modified Bangerts Scale. The total score is 125. Frequency, Percentage, and Chi-square tests were used for data analysis. The study revealed that 4% of nursing students don’t have any proper opinion about online classes, 78% of nursing students are agreeing with the satisfaction of online classes, and the remaining 18% of students are strongly agreeing with the satisfaction of online classes. There was a significant association found between IT skills, place of residence, and their level of satisfaction with online classes.
