Abstract

A nursing student's anxiety is not exempt from normal circumstances. During the covid-19 pandemic and mandatory lockdown in India, nursing students faced economic uncertainty, fear of infection, challenges of distance education, and a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) at work. Nurses can help lower student anxiety by maintaining a stable educational framework, providing high quality distance learning, and encouraging and supporting students during these difficult times. By the time of this writing (April 03, 2021), it has infected over 1,23,93,859 peoples in India, with Maharashtra having the largest number of infected cases and deaths (over 55,000). In India, medical professionals have always supported those on the front lines due to the country's history of war. This battle is different, and the medical professionals are the commanders and foot soldiers. Hence, we decided to examine nursing students' anxiety during these unusual times.
