Abstract

Innovative technologies in nursing with leadership implies the development of leadership skills and quality of interpersonal collaborations and strategies to promote innovations in all aspects of health care delivery starting from the smart beds to automated IV pumps. These advanced technologies in the health care industry have saved many lives and also technology supports nurses to offer better care. There are four areas where nurses are using innovative technologies. Which are Innovations in Nursing Education, Innovations in clinical practice, and Innovations in administration and management, Innovation in Research. Technology is beginning to support nurses to offer better care. The health care settings now utilize a wide variety of things such as Electronic records, medicine prescribing tools, telehealth, and online appointment mobile laboratory. These are some reasons why nursing leaders make steps to embed digital literacy firmly in education and across all parts of the workforce and performance development.
