Abstract

Copper acetate, LED, and photodiode were used to construct an H2S sensor. It was tested to directly convert the optical H2S sensor system's output signal to an electrical signal using an LPDM (LED photodiode module) and a copper acetate sheet placed on glass. The experimental results demonstrate that as the thickness of the copper acetate film is increased, the sensitivity and linearity of the sensor improve. Between 1 and 50 ppm at 15 C, the concentration-voltage characteristics exhibit good linearity. This sensor has a sensitivity range of 0.2-0.4v/1ppm. Additionally, the voltage at LPDM is monitored when H2S is rising and falling, and the four times of repetition are also recorded. All of these measurements show how well-repeatable and stable our suggested structure is.
