Abstract

In this research paper, we write an algorithm to obtain the impulse response of different types of systems, say, an under-damped system, an undamped system, a critically damped system & an over-damped system. In this article, we give a brief background as to how to obtain the impulse response of a system described by a given differential equation. We all know that the difference equation is an equation that gives the information and the relation between the input & the output of a discrete-time system. This difference equation gives the input-output relationship of a DT system in the discrete-time domain. From the differential equation of the system, we obtain the impulse response. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the methodology that is being proposed.
