Robotic Manhole Cleaner

Abstract

Manholes get clogged now and then and all that the government or the Municipal Corporation does is to take out only the water through the pumps but the water is not the problem, the solid waste accumulated at the bottom causes clogging because of which the water don't have any path to drain out. So, for the drainage system to be well maintained, this clogging should be unclogged. To remove this unclogging, we have introduced a machine that consists of robotic arms. The robotic arm will go inside the manhole and does not pick up the solid waste accumulated. This machine will help to put an end to manual scavenging, which will in turn decrease the rate of deaths due to manual scavenging.
