Abstract

The efficient utilization of energy resources is of paramount importance in modern society, and the demand for intelligent systems to optimize power consumption is steadily increasing. This paper presents a novel approach to address this need by introducing a Fuzzy Power Converter (FPC) for a Rainfall Detection System (RDS). The FPC is designed to enhance the performance of the RDS by adapting the power supply based on the prevailing weather conditions, thereby ensuring energy efficiency. This work outlines the development and implementation of the FPC, demonstrating its capability to significantly reduce power consumption in RDS applications. The FPC employs fuzzy logic control to intelligently modulate the power supply to the RDS, thereby improving energy efficiency and prolonging the system's lifespan. Experimental results in MATLAB showcase the effectiveness of the proposed FPC, indicating substantial energy savings and reduced environmental impact.
