Wearable Emergency Handler Based on Raspberry-Pi

Being disabled or abandoned is a fate worse than death. With old age covers maturity, wisdom and respectability but they are the ones who encounter the agony of being abandoned. The old age is an integral part of human life. It is the evening of life. With no place to go and all hopes lost. Elder people have to resort to old age homes or they get solely solitary. Being the citizen of modern time, we would like to reduce the impact of old age crisis. Taking this into consideration we have come up with an innovative idea. For this we have planned to design a wearable which can sense the body changes such as pulse rate and amount of oxygen. This apparatus monitors all these parameters. When they go below the normal level, the microcontroller and GSM will work appropriately and send an SMS to ambulance, police and relatives. Also, it will give the current location of the affected person. This way it can help the abandoned with immediate aid and abet.
