Abstract

The existing optical communication system uses a transmitter that encodes a message into an optical signal, a channel that delivers the signal to its destination, and a receiver that reproduces the message from the received optical signal. The article describes a television electromagnetic communication system using liquid crystal displays (LCDs), which is a reversible to the optical communication system, in which the transmitter encodes a television electromagnetic video signal arriving at the signal receiving point wirelessly, which reproduces the received television video signal in the form of an intermittent optical signal on an LCD screen using the optical properties of liquid crystals.
