Abstract

The most common method of systemic medication activity is oral drug delivery. Researchers have attempted to create more effective routes for pharmacological systemic action since some therapeutic compounds have low bioavailability. The most effective way to administer drugs is through the nose. Intranasal drug therapy is a well-accepted treatment approach in the Indian medicine system of Ayurveda. The huge numbers of blood arteries found in the nasal mucosa enhance drug absorption. The respiratory, vestibular, and olfactory systems are all housed in the nose cavity. Two mechanisms and two processes make up the NDD (Nasal Drug Delivery) mechanism.
