Abstract

In the present era, cleaning is an important task in everyday life. Most of the homes have maids and companies have janitors to do the cleaning work. But it is observed that in many cases, the cleaning is not effective due to reasons such as getting tired due to huge effort put into the cleaning process and other human errors. This calls for the integration of technology in the cleaning system to assist humans in the cleaning process. Adding a bit of control for the movement of the cleaning system and its parts will make the cleaning process easier. A cleaning system with self-control or remote control is referred to as a cleaning robot. The cleaning robots which are already available in the market help in minimizing the human effort but are not affordable by all classes of society. The proposed low-cost cleaning bot renders maximum efficiency with minimum human effort and it is affordable to all classes of society. The proposed cleaning bot which is customizable can sweep, mop, and dry the floor simultaneously and requires low maintenance.
