Various Types of Machine Learning Algorithms: A Review

Abstract

In this paper, various types of machine learning algorithms are discussed. In recent years, the increase of information and accessibility has activated a paradigm shift in algorithm design for artificial intelligence. These algorithms are used for various purposes like pattern recognition, image processing, fraud detection, automated diagnostic procedures in the medical field, acquisition of landmines in acoustic sensor and radar data, predictive analytics, etc. to name a few. The main advantage of using machine learning is undoubtedly it helps people to work more creatively and efficiently as well as its capability of self-learning machines can perform complex tasks automatically.
