Abstract

Electricity is one of humanity's most basic needs, and it is widely used for home, industrial, and agricultural uses. Theft is a huge issue all around the world and it is criminal and must be stopped. Our project enables us to track electricity use on a regular and periodic basis, preventing power theft. The suggested concept aims to develop a low-cost wireless sensor network and protocol for smart energy, as well as a web application capable of automatically reading and delivering data enabling power users to monitor their current energy meter reading. Users will be aware of their electricity usage in their homes as a result of employing this technology, allowing them to decrease power waste and consumption costs. The current sensor detects high current consumption, and the user should be warned to avoid wasting power; the framework can transmit data to the site. In addition, when the circumstances are met, IFTTT will make a ready call, and the Relay circuit will shut the load after the specified time set by the user.
