Abstract

Some hereditary diseases and the effects of drugs on genes, as genetic diseases or congenital malformations arise from consanguineous marriage; It doubles the chances of birth defects even if there is no history of hereditary diseases in the family, and the chances of children suffering from disorders increase with the delay in childbearing age. Whether used to explain patient response or lack of response to treatment, or act as a predictive tool, it is hoped to achieve better treatment outcomes, greater efficacy, and reduced incidence of drug toxicities and adverse drug effects (ADRS). For patients with reduced therapeutic response to medication, alternative therapies tailored to their needs may be prescribed. Sequencing of genes provides many data points, including the detection of mutations that terminate the synthesized protein early.
