The foremost specific thing of angioplasty is although risks occur, coronary angioplasty has become unique and standard procedure to prevent from further heart problems for certain heart patient, heart disease treatment can be achieved without surgery. Angioplasty and stent placement are the common, nonsurgical procedures that can be used to open the blocked arteries the technique involves five different procedures including: percutaneous coronary angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty, carotid angioplasty, renal angioplasty and venous angioplasty. Though it is regarded as the safest, effective and of less cost it has several complications associated such as stenosis, heart attack, ventricular fibrillation, myocardial infarction etc within 6 to 10 hrs. of angioplasty performed. The complications of angioplasty can be prevented by using antiplatelets, aspirin and further complications can be prevented by improving life style (diet, habits and exercise etc.)
