For lateral force resistance, shear walls are one of the most effective sections of the buildings structure. Shear walls are quite strong. Shear walls are structural solutions that resist the effects lateral loads acting on a structure such as wind and earthquake loads. Normally, they are as an encasement for elevator cores, stairwells, and other structures, as a result, horizontal and vertical forces are efficiently resisted. In this work, analysis of irregular building by changing position of shear walls. The seismic analysis finished is nonlinear time history evaluation the usage of ETABS19 seismic overall performance of the irregular constructing has been finished based totally on parameters like storey displacement, storey drift, and base shear.
