It has been a known fact that in our country the current regulations for direct selling companies have been fraught with multiple challenges. Most of these challenges are common for all the direct selling companies, irrespective of product categories they deal with. This has made it very difficult for the distributors to achieve their goals. Despite all the difficulties, few distributors have become successful and have been enlightening the path for other distributors to follow. This study mainly focuses on the challenges faced by the direct selling distributors. Data have been collected using structured questionnaire from 400 distributors of the direct selling companies namely, Amway, Herbalife, Tupperware and Oriflame.
