Abstract

Simulation has become one of the recent tools in engineering applications in the modern world. Simulation problems can be solved within the recent period with the help of various software platforms. Simulation improves visualization of the process of the system, performance characteristics, and validation. In this paper, an attempt has been made to study the impact of simulation in robotics applications using a simulation solver (ROBO DK Package). In this work case study is presented to demonstrate the use of robotic simulation in production tasks say machining operations. The key factors taken in the simulation study were degrees of freedom and collision mapping toolbox.
