Abstract

Revolution in technologies is making people more self-reliant. Automated systems have helped people in achieving a reduction in wastage, are cost-effective, and are user-friendly. In agriculture the concept of DRONE is one such technology. Spraying pesticides and herbicides is a traditional practice to save the crop and is a part of nurturing. This process usually consumes a lot of waste of pesticides and herbicides. The automated nozzle system is a product that is mounted in a normal Drone with enough payloads and can be used for any crop provided if the drone can access the area. The nozzle setup can move two degrees of motion. It can regulate a wide range of pressure consistently. This is the product to overcome the scarcity of labor with maximum efficiency. This is a review to understand the significance of modern technology in agriculture and to understand the existing nozzle system, its significance, and its limitation. The review has been divided into three parts based on scope, quality of existing nozzle system, and development of existing nozzle system. After going through seventeen papers by different authors to understand the need for the automated nozzle system in agriculture which shows the need for improvements in agriculture due to the different factors mentioned above. The green revolution of the future will include changes that include automation in agriculture. The challenges will include the density of the pesticide, viscosity, recoil velocity, wind resistance, and drone capacity to bear the weight. We need to determine the material of the nozzle, outlet, controller, medium of control, and spacing of the entire system.
