Abstract

Traditionally, firefighting has posed significant risks to human lives, resulting in numerous fatalities and highlighting the urgent need for technological advancements. Current firefighting strategies heavily rely on human intervention, despite the inherent fallibility of even well-trained individuals. In light of these challenges, the emergence of firefighting robots has sparked considerable interest. These robots offer a viable solution for tackling fire incidents that are too perilous for human involvement. Fires can originate from various sources, such as industrial facilities or remote locations, and pose severe threats to sectors like cotton, textiles, and petroleum due to potential electrical leaks. The consequences extend beyond immediate damages, as fires can devastate nearby communities and cause substantial financial losses. Deploying robots in such scenarios proves prudent, safeguarding human lives, fostering economic growth, and protecting the environment. With this in mind, our objective is to develop a FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT utilizing an embedded system. Our envisioned robot will be capable of autonomously navigating through a simulated house fire, actively scanning the floor for flames. Additionally, it will serve as a guide, leading individuals through challenging terrains if needed, and equipped with a fire extinguisher for immediate action. By striving to achieve a practical and achievable goal of saving lives and minimizing property risks, this program aims to inspire creativity and generate interest within the robotics industry.
