Abstract

The importance of modern Industry 4.0 is based on automation, so all mechanisms are running on the Internet of Things (IoT). Therefore, there is a need to improve productivity and transportation. The (IoT)-based multi-directional conveyor robot uses wireless media connections (such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.) to transport materials from one place to another through a rotating and up-and-down mechanism. This conveyor has a high carrying capacity, a long enough conveying path, simple design, easy maintenance, and high operational reliability. This (IoT)-based conveyor can be used in foundry, automobile industry, food industry, coal industry, warehouses, etc. Project work is to design the conveyor system, including belt width, motor selection, belt selection, belt specification, roller, and shaft diameter, with the help of standard model calculation and Arduino selection. The Arduino circuit is used to control all movements to avoid all physical contact and has an (IoT based setting. In this project, we undertook the Arduino circuit design, programming, and development of the (IoT)-based multi-directional conveyor robot to material handling.
