Abstract

This paper will present and analyse the reported use of artificially intelligent systems when it comes to security issues like data breaches. It focuses on both how AI is being implemented as well as how it can be used for defence and for strengthening cyber security. AI implementation through various technologies and methods, specifically classifiers, can lead to heightened defence mechanisms and reduced risk as it allows for the detection of threats with lightning speed in real-time or early enough to be predicted based on threat prospecting. Learning with each interaction allows Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems to scan massive amounts of data at high levels of accuracy, providing actionable insights to analysts in the area who are responsible for alert response and prevention within their organization's system. Which artificial intelligence can be implemented into cyber security systems, and why we need AI in security. The first section will present artificial intelligence in various applications of cyber security, discussing how AI makes it possible to address issues such as data analysis in complex environments. Subsequent parts will then discuss how the use of classifiers under artificial intelligence enables a much greater rate of cyber defines. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methods, specifically the use of classifiers, in the detection of cyber security attacks.
