Abstract

listed here, different methodology within the area of fault isolation, robustness in fault diagnosis, parameter estimation (for root motive evaluation) and prognostics are surveyed and utilized to a model developed for a hoisting mechanism mounted on a automobile with planer oscillation. The developed mannequin Is of multi energy complexity and meant to isolate the add-ons responsible for abnormal behavior of the procedure utilizing structural evaluation of some constraint family members, called Analytical Redundancy family members (ARR), the numerical evaluation of which might be residuals. Bond graph modeling, which is a unified instrument for multi-vigor domain process representation, is used to model the process. The fault indications and fault signatures are derived from the model. The robustness in fault detection is addressed by way of passive process to make residuals insensitive to uncertainty of method parameters. Also, multi-tier parallel simulation process is applied to isolate some structurally non isolable faults. Then, inaccurate parameters are estimated to predict final priceless life for prognostics evaluation.
