Protection of Bank of River for Very High Discharge of Flow

Simulation of discharge of flow and depth of flow for 0.75-inch roughness bed data is done and depth of flow for Qp = 15000 m3/sec. was found from the derived equation where Qp = Discharge of flow for prototype or river hydraulics. Similarly, simulation between depth of flow for depth of flow and maximum permissible velocity was done and the depth of flow obtained for Qp = 15000m3/sec. is substituted in the equation and maximum permissible velocity is found and it is within permissible value. These simulations are to be done because the dependent parameters are discharge of flow, depth of flow, velocity of flow to find maximum permissible velocity. For the simulation done we find that we get maximum permissible velocity within permissible limit. Hence, we get no erosion along with bank of river and this erosion is prevented by providing 22cm. size of boulder along bank of river.
