Abstract

Existing distillers desalinate seawater using distillation or thermal distillation, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, and crystallization extraction. The use of these seawater desalination processes in distillers leads to the complexity of their design and the use of expensive and wearable materials and makes them economically unprofitable.

The article presents a developed autonomic domestic multi-purpose seawater distiller, using the seawater electrolysis process, created by membrane-separated electrodes, which allows desalination of seawater, obtaining separately valuable products: gaseous chlorine and hydrogen, NaOH at home conditions. The developed autonomic domestic multi-purpose distiller uses solar batteries as a power source.
