Portable Seed Sowing Machine for Agriculture Purpose

Abstract

Today, there is a need of development in the agricultural field, new mechanisms and technologies at low cost should be made available to the farmers for better agricultural produce and low input energy or cost. Ploughing of the field for sowing the seeds is one of the most important and time consuming process in farming. Ploughing using animals or tractors etc., is common in India. For the farmers who couldn’t afford any of these, a device is developed which will provide a mechanical mechanism to sow the seeds. It is a device which can be used to sow the seeds by wearing it on the legs just like the shoes or slippers. The device contains four cylinders, three for pressure transmission and amplification and remaining one for storage of mixture of water and seeds. The mixture of water and seeds is driven from the storage cylinder into the cylinder containing tubes at bottom by suction, and then by compression the mixture is pushed through the tubes into the ground. The block mounted below the storage cylinder is used to cover the holes made by the tubes.
