Industrial Scenario of Sonepat, Haryana: Where We Are Heading Towards

Abstract

The industry is a place where raw material is converted to the finished product but Industrialization is essentially a process of technological innovation which leads to an improved organization, specialization, and division of labor, which has inherent impulses of faster, continuous, and cumulative growth. Industrialization plays a crucial role in the economic development of a Country. Earlier Industrialization was very slow in India but now with time, it speeds up. The development of industry is an important factor in the development of any region, city, or country. There has been a significant development in the field of industry, especially in the National Capital Region of Haryana. Earlier the economy of Sonipat was dependent on its farming but now its interest has been shifting towards industrial development, especially after the development of cycle and dying industries in the 1960s. In light of the above, the present paper would mainly focus on the direction of growth of the industry in Sonipat (NCR, Haryana).
