Abstract

As we all know the population of increasing day by day by this the need of healthcare is also increasing. Various methodologies and technology, helps to change in healthcare privacy laws, risk management and infection control, and competition for customers are changing the way we design healthcare facilities. As now a day’s evidence-based design becoming more practiced design strategy in the healthcare quality and also it improves or help patients to heal faster. Improving Healthcare is today influenced by the design concept healing interior, stating that the patients healing process is promoted through accommodating physical surroundings. Also, with the healthcare quality the promotion of patient safety has to be in priority for reducing the major health services around the world. The healthcare quality or service is highly pressured in this present scenario. The safety of people in health care is the most important factor which they are facing issues, not only in India but worldwide. The importance of effective design thinking in healthcare has now been captured up by the both experts and the government too. Also recent studies have been done by the panels and government where they have recognized that poor design play an important role in the past precipitated accidents. So, it will be discussed how healthcare quality and safety should be improved through design.
