An Architectural Study of Fly Ash

Abstract

Fly ash is a waste product which is generated by factories and thermal power plants in large amount. The importance of fly ash in building construction has been found in history; and now a day, use of fly ash can be witnessed in various areas of construction-either as an additive or as a catalyst in production of various building materials. This paper highlights the knowledge of fly ash, its advantages, disadvantages and uses in the field of building construction.
