Geopolymer Ferrocement Slab Design using Nanosilica

Abstract

An investigation was carried out to study the impact of ferrocement geopolymer slabs with nano silica design conducting by laboratory accelerated tests and field exposure tests. The ferrocement geopolymer slab with nano silica slabs was made with weld mesh. The dimensions of the specimen are 700X250X25 mm. Ferrocement is a composite material made up of cement mortar and reinforcement in the form of layers of mesh.
