Performance Assessment of RC Structure under Conventional Slab, Flat Slab and Partial Flat Conventional Slab Provisions using Linear Static Method

Abstract

The present research work focuses on the comparative study of conventional slab structure, flat slab structure and Structure with both flat and conventional slabs as it is necessary to analyze seismic behavior of structure. In this analysis G+10 model lines is done using ETABS for seismic Zone IV. The models taken in this thesis have Rectangular shape configurations. The parameters on which this thesis is compared are maximum reactions, maximum storey displacement, maximum overturning moments and maximum storey drift. Based on results and comparing the parameters of different cases the conclusion can be made.
